I also shut down my Facebook site since some spam was getting into my email in box and I find it distressing that you cannot delete your information, only deactivate...maybe I'm naive but that makes me uncomfortable.
Anyway, back to packing, packing, packing, working, groaning and packing.
Lord have mercy !!

I have a lot of negative things about facebook so I never opened an account
I just received this email from the Facebook team and I am satisfied with their response.
'We have deleted your profile information and removed your email address from our login database.'
I had a lot of invitations to Facebook so I tried it out -- I REALLY did "try" it! But I found it boring and time-consuming and unreal! I was also unsure as to who could read what! People kept saying it was good because you have to sign in to it to read etc. but I was really critical of that! Anyway -- if someone wants to write to me at any level of personal-ness or privacy, email is great :) ! I finally deleted my account completely as well back in November.
